Netflix has quietly added a gem to its action movie collection, one that stands out from the usual fare. If you’re a fan of Quentin Tarantino’s “Inglourious Basterds,” this new addition is a must-watch. While it doesn’t follow Tarantino’s distinctive style—no snappy dialogue or 70s music—it does deliver in spades with intense, bloody violence and strong language.

Imagine a blend of Robert Rodriguez’s “El Mariachi,” the gritty revenge of “Django Unchained,” and the relentless action of “John Wick,” all set against the backdrop of World War II. The result is one of the most thrilling action films of the decade. Both “Django Unchained” and “John Wick” are available on Netflix, so you can make it a weekend of vengeance.

Adding to the Nazis’ woes, Aatami has a loyal dog by his side.

If you’re looking for more gore, there are other movies to catch before they leave the platform. Helander’s debut film, “Rare Exports,” is also worth checking out, though you’ll have to find it elsewhere. It offers a unique twist: villagers battling a murderous Santa Claus. This makes “Sisu” seem almost tame in comparison.
