Valorant Patch 12.07 – Scope Fixes & Discord Integration
Valorant patch 12.07 has arrived, delivering a collection of quality-of-life improvements that prioritize aiming consistency, social connectivity, and interface polish rather than agent or weapon balance changes. The update addresses long-standing scope reticle inconsistencies, introduces Discord account linking, and overhauls the settings menu alongside multiple storefront fixes.
Scope Reticle Consistency
Players previously reported that certain scope reticles on premium skins did not align precisely with the center of view compared to the default scope reticle, causing aiming inconsistencies. Patch 12.07 corrects this for several skins: the Kuronami Marshal, EX.O Marshal, Nocturnum Marshal, Araxys Outlaw, and Operator. Riot acknowledged player Grimm for providing feedback that helped identify and fix these issues.
Discord Integration
Valorant has officially partnered with Discord to streamline social features. By linking their accounts, players can now invite Discord friends directly to their party from within the game, copy and share lobby links on Discord servers, and see which of their Discord friends are playing Valorant without ever alt-tabbing. The feature launches as a beta in Brazil first, then expands to the US and Canada on April 21 (PT). A global rollout is scheduled for patch 12.08 on April 29 (PT).
Settings Menu Revamp
The settings screens have received a visual refresh and structural improvements to make finding and adjusting options faster. Related settings now have parent-child associations, making it easier to see dependent options. Hover tooltips provide additional context for each setting. The previous “General – Other” section has been reorganized into three dedicated categories: User Interface, Content
