Light and Heavy Caliber Compressors are crafting components required for fabricating Aluminum-tier and higher weapons in Dune: Awakening. If you’re looking to upgrade your arsenal in the mid-game, you’ll need a steady supply of these parts. They are most reliably found inside chests at enemy outposts north of the Vermillius Gap, specifically in the Eastern and Western Shield Wall regions.

Farming from Outposts

The Eastern Shield Wall is the best starting area because it’s more accessible from lower-level zones. Chests containing both Compressors respawn every 45 minutes of real time. A single efficient loop begins at Western Comms in the far west of the Eastern Shield Wall, then moves through Ironwatch, Kief’s Triumph, Sentinel City, Southern Comms, Eastern Comms, and Weather Top. After clearing Weather Top, head west to the Western Shield Wall, starting at The Aegis and continuing through The Keep, The Nest, Passage of Artemis, The View, Shield Wall Command, Mysa Overwatch, and The Depot. The remaining three outposts follow a similar pattern, and the loop naturally circles back to Western Comms for a continuous run.

Buying from Vendors

If you prefer a direct purchase, three merchants sell both Compressors for 5,000 Solaris each (15 in stock) with a daily refresh every 24 hours. Zoe operates at Crossroads Tradepost (west of Mysa Tarill), Asmara Efendi has a shop in eastern Harko Village, and Ant Nostrum is in southeastern Arrakeen. You can also occasionally find Compressors on the Player Exchange in Arrakeen or Harko Village, which can be a convenient alternative if you have surplus resources to trade.
